Types of Gas Hydrate

At MDS, we have been successful in growing hydrates using the following Hydrate Forming Gases (HFGs): carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), propane (C₃H₈), ethane (C₂H₆) and methane based mixed gas. Hydrate growth was obtained in both aqueous and gaseous environments and upon dissociation low salinity water was recovered.
